| funny letter i came across:
LETTER TO A MOTHER
A mother enters her daughter's bedroom and sees a letter over the bed. With the worst premonition, she reads it, with trembling hands:
It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm telling you that I eloped with my new boyfriend. I found real passion and he is so nice, with all his piercings and tattoos and his big motorcycle. But is not only that mom, I'm pregnant and Ahmed said that we will be very happy in his trailer in the woods.
He wants to have many more children with me and that's one of my dreams. I've learned that marihuana doesn't hurt anyone and we'll be growing it for us and his friends, who are providing us with all the cocaine and ecstasies we may want. In the meantime, we'll pray for the science to find the AIDS cure, for Ahmed to get better, he deserves it.
Don't worry Mom, I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Some day I'll visit for you to know your grandchildren.
Your daughter, Judith
PS: Mom, it's not true. I'm at the neighbor's house. I just wanted to show you that there are worst things in life than the school's report card that's in my desk's drawer...I love you! | | |
| my georgia tech boys didn't win, but you
know what, they weren't even ranked in the top 25 coming into the
season, so it's a BIG accomplishment, mucho props.
baseball season has started and my beloved Atlanta Braves are 0-1.
damn, i'm not sure if we can do it this year, but i'm a die hard fan,
and always will be. i'm no bandwagon jumper.
as far a school goes, i'm only taking 3 classes this quarter. decided
to take this quarter easy and do my best at it. turns out 2 of my
classes appear to be really easy for me, but the keyword here is
appears. the other class will take some work. i got about another year
left, then i'm DONE. better late than never. things seem to be going
well right now, but i'm kinda scared it's not gonna last. i've been
struggling w/ everything the last 2.5 years since i moved to cali and
now that everything seems to be on track, i'm scared it's gonna change
b/c i'm not used to things being like this. i dunno. hopefully things
will keep getting better.

| yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!! Georgia Tech upset Oklahoma St!!!!!!!!!1 Fuck all the non-believers (i know, most of you aren't sports fans, but oh wells). i'm overcome w/ joy for my home state team | | |
| I was cleaning out my car the other day and I ran across a big stack of
cd's that I haven't listened to in HELLA long, probably 2-3 years. most
of them were made while i was still living in Atlanta and listening to
some of the songs brought back such vivid memories. i have a thing with
associating songs w/ a certain point in my life and listening to them
made me reminisce of my friends back home and my ex (i'm over her, but
the first love thing will always be there). i was literally just
sitting there listening to all the cd's for hours and flashbacks would
just come to me, both good and bad. i miss my youth and while i'm still
relatively young, nothing can beat my teenage years; they were so worry
free and innocent. everything i did was a first and seemed so great at
the time and i didn't have to worry about work, school, money,
bills, etc. i've come to the conclusion that our memories are the most
important things we have besides family and friends. we experience
things everyday and we record them in our minds, whether it be good or
bad. if in the end, you have more good memories than bad, then you have
lived a fulfilling life.
on a lighter note, i found out why my picture taking skills suck so
much. it's because i'm not implementing the correct stance, check these
pictures out
